Carlos Novella is a photographer and architect born in 1993 in Zaragoza, based in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. His work focuses on exploring the tensions that emerge from the relationship between subject and territory, approaching the wounds that open both in the landscape and in the bodies that inhabit it. Through his photography he questions the idealized narratives linked to the notion of progress and development, and invites to reflect on the ways of inhabiting the world to open an intimate and collective dialogue.
